SIP User I D
This field contains the us er part of the SIP address for this phone. e.g., if the
SIP address is: sip:my_user _id@my_provider.com, then the SIP U ser ID is:
my_user_id. Please do NOT include the preceding sip: scheme or the host
portion of the SIP addres s in this field.
SIP User I D
User account information, provided by VoIP service provider (ITS P), usually
has the digit form of a p hone number (or is actually a phone num ber).
Authentic ate ID
SIP service subscribers ID u sed for authentication. Can be
identical to or, different from SIP User ID.

SIP service subscribers accou nt password for GXP-2000 to register to (SIP)
servers of ITSP.
Name
SIP service subscribers na me which will be used for Caller ID disp lay.
G723 Rate :
This defines the encoding rat e for G723 vocoder. By default, 6.3kb ps rate is
chosen.
iLBC frame size
This defines the size of the iLBC codec frame. The default settin g is 20ms.
iLBC paylo ad type
This defines the iLBC payloa d type. The default setting is 97.
Preferred Vocoder
VoIP Client ATA supports u p to 7 different vocoder types including G711-ulaw
(PCMU), G711-alaw (PCM A), G723, G729A/B, G726-32 (ADPCM), G72 8,
and iLBC. Depending on th e product model, some of these vocod ers may not
be provided in a standard release.
A user can configure voco ders in a preference list that will be inclu ded with the
same preference order in S DP message. The first vocoder in this l ist can be
entered by choosing the appropriate option in Choice 1. Similar ly, the last
vocoder in this list can be entered by choosing the appropriate op tion in
Choice 7.
Silence Su ppression
This controls the silence su ppression/VAD feature of G723 and G72 9. If set to
Yes, when a silence is detecte d, a small quantity of VAD packets (inste ad of
audio packets) will be sent during the period of no talking. If set to No, this
feature is disabled.
Layer 3 Qo S
This field defines the layer 3 QoS parameter which can be the v alue used for IP
Precedence or Diff-Serv. Default value is 48
Layer 2 Qo S
This setting includes two fi elds. The 802.1Q/VLAN Tag contains the value
used for layer 2 VLAN tag. Default setting is blank. And 802.1p p riority value
contains the value of the pr iority value.
Use DNS S RV
This parameter controls wh ether the IP phone supports the DNS SRV route
function.
