5.Loosen the two jack screws, then, using a scrap wood block, push the knife blade down until both ends are sightly below the straight- edge.

6.Using the 4mm hex wrench, turn each jack screw clockwise 1/8 of a turn at a time until each end of the knife touches the straight- edge evenly.

7.Rotate the cutterhead without disturbing the knife clamp to check the knife height.

—If the knife moves the straight edge slightly (1/8") forward and back on the table, the knife height is set correctly.

—If the knife does not move the straightedge slightly (1/8") forward and back on the table, continue to make fine adjustments with the jack screws until the knife is set correctly.

8.When the knife height is set correctly, firmly tighten each of the knife clamp screws. When the clamp is set firmly, tighten the jack screws.
