The red Power ON light comes on when the appliance is first plugged in. This light will stay on until the unit is unplugged.
The green READY light comes on when the appliance has reached the desired temperature. For best results, wait until green READY light comes on before adding waffle batter. This light will cycle on and off during cooking.
