72 Customizing Your Phone
Preventing unauthorized use of your phoneYou can protect your phone number from unau thorized use by locking your
SIM card.
1. Turn on your phone.
2. Press the Phone button on your VisorPhone.
3. Tap the Menu icon .
4. Under Options, tap Phone Preferences.
5. Select the Phone Locked check box to lo ck your SIM card.
6. Enter your password and tap OK.
Note: If you haven’t set a password yet, check your s ervice provider’s
documentation for the default password. This is usual ly 1234 or
1111.
7. Tap OK.
