Thefinaloperator interface is the switch on the frontpanel adjacent to thereceptacles. Thisswitchin the "on"position allows power to the coalfeeder motor receptacle. In the "off" position, powerwillbe removed onlyfrom the coalfeedermotor receptacle. Thisswitchinthe"off"position,willstop thecoalfrom moving across the grates and allow for easy lightingof the fire.Once the fire has been established movethe switch tothe"on" position.
How to Operate the Stoker Control
There are four operator interfaces on the stoker control. The operator interfaces are one rocker switch and three, 16- positionrotaryswitches.
The rocker switch is a powerswitch that controls only the coalfeedermotor. For normaloperation, this switch should be placed inthe "on" position. This switch'soperationcan beverified by a smallred light above the coalfeeder receptacle beingon when theswitch ison.
If the stove needs to be shut down, simply place the rocker switch in the"off"position. Thesmalllight above the coalfeeder receptacle willturn off.
Theother three switchesare the customer's adjustments for the timers (on time, off time,distributionblowertime).These switches canadjust eachtimerindividually from 1minuteto15 minutes in1minute increments. Do not set timers to 0.
The "on" timeandthe "off"time shouldbe programmed to a minimum timethatkeepsthecoalburningduringthemaintenance cyclingmode. The distributionblowertimeshouldbeprogrammed fora timewhich is longenoughto movethe excess heat from the stove to the room heated. If this time is programmed for a longer timethanthe "off" timethedistributionblowerwilloperatecon- stantly. Thiswillhaveno damagingeffect onthe stokercontrol.
