SECTION 7 − OPERATING AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT

.The welding generator provides power while welding and with the Amperage control in any position. However, under these conditions equipment connected to the welding generator may be subject to larger than normal voltage fluctuations. It is recommended that only lamps be powered under these conditions.

! Use GFCI-protected extension cord.

.Generator power decreases as weld current increases.

Set Amperage control at max. for full generator power.

1240 V 20 A AC Duplex Receptacle RC1

RC1 supplies 60 Hz single-phase power at weld/power speed. Maximum output is 4 kVA/kW.

2120 V 20 A AC Duplex Receptacle RC2

RC2 supplies 60 Hz single-phase power at weld/power speed. Maximum output from RC2 is 2.4 kVA/kW.

3 Supplementary Protector CB1

CB1 protects the receptacles from over- load. If CB1 opens, the receptacles do not work.

.Place switch in the On position to re-

set. If supplementary protector contin- ues to open, contact Factory Authorized Service Agent.

Combined output of all receptacles limited to 4 kVA/kW rating of the generator (See Section 11 − Generator Power Guide- lines).

EXAMPLE: If 15 A is drawn from the 120 volt duplex receptacle, only 9 A is available from the 240 V duplex receptacle.

(120 V x 15 A) + (240 V x 9 A) = 4 kVA/KW.
