If the connections are faulty, no sound will be heard from the speakers, and if the polarity of the speaker connection is incorrect, the sound will be unnatural and lack bass.
• Depending on the type of your subwoofer, connect it as follows.
• Connect the SUBWOOFER PREOUT jack to the active (powered) subwoofer. (For details on the operation of the subwoofer, refer to "Operating instructions of your active subwoofer" )
• Connect the SUBWOOFER terminals to the passive subwoofer.(For details on the operation of the subwoofer, refer to "Operating instructions of your passive subwoofer" )
■Caution :
•Be sure to use the front speakers with the impedance of 6 ohms or above and the passive subwoofer with the impedance of 4 ohms or above.
•Do not let the bare speaker wires touch each other or any metal part of this unit. This could damage this unit and/or the speakers
Place the speakers as follows :
• Front speakers: Place the front speakers with their front surfaces as flush with TV or monitor screen as possible.
• Subwoofer: Place the subwoofer any where in the front as desired because the low frequencies it reproduces are non- directional.
