CONTROLS DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS
You will use these controls every time you operate the lawn tractor.
Your lawn tractor uses colors to identify control types.
Orange levers and knobs are used to control the movement of the
lawn tractor. For example, the parking brake lever, throttle lever, and
shift lever are color coded orange.
.Yellow controls identify attachment controls, such as the hand grip on
the PTO clutch lever that is used to start and stop movement of the
mower deck blades.
Seat
The seat can be adjusted back and forth for operator comfort. The
seat may also be raised and locked for battery access (see the
Maintenance chapter for details).
Fuel Valve
The fuel valve is located on the
carburetor, on the left side of the
engine, underneath the engine hood.
Pushing the fuel valve handle toward
the engine allows fuel to flow from the
fuel tank to the carburetor. The fuel
valve must be ON to start the engine
and should be OFF when the lawn
tractor is not in use, or when
transporting the lawn tractor.
Ignition Switch
772CAAACCI:
The ignition switch is used to start and stop the
engine. The key can only be inserted and
removed when the switch is OFF.
