. Raise the engine hood. Locate
the carburetor on the left side of
the engine. Move the fuel valve to
ON (page 14). Locate the drain
screw on the back side of the
carburetor.

. Drain fuel into an approved /
container by loosening the drain DRAIN SCREW
screw.
Gasoline is highly flammable and
explosive. You can be burned or
seriously injured when handling fuel.
l Stop the engine and keep heat,
sparks, and flame away.
l Handle fuel only outdoors.
l Wipe up spills immediately.
1. Locate the fuel supply line between
the carburetor and fuel tank. Loosen
the hose clamp where the fuel supply i
line connects to the fuel tank, and 550
disconnect the fuel line from the tank. ?L--
I. The fuel filter is a white plastic piece
inside the fuel tank outlet fitting. Note
how the fuel filter is installed when you 772FAEAA.
remove it from the fuel line.
i. Install a new fuel filter, then properly dispose of the old filter and
any spilled fuel.
