MAINTENANCE
l Read the instructions before you begin, and make sure you have
the tools and skills required.
l To reduce the possibility of fire or explosion, be careful when
working around gasoline. Use only a nonflammable solvent, not
gasoline, to clean parts. Keep cigarettes, sparks, and flames away
from all fuel-related parts.
l For certain operations, the lawn tractor must be raised off the
ground. Be sure the lawn tractor is solidly supported before you
put any part of your body under the lawn tractor.
l Disconnect the spark plug cap and wear heavy gloves when
working near the mower deck, belts, or blades.
l Never support or stand the lawn tractor on either side or end. Fuel,
oil, or battery electrolyte can leak out.
Remember that your servicing dealer knows your lawn tractor best
and is fully equipped to maintain and repair it.
To ensure the best quality and reliability, use only new, genuine
Honda parts or their equivalents for repair and replacement.
