3. Insert the dipstick as shown here (don’t screw it
back in).
4. If the oil level is low (near the bottom), add
enough of the recommended oil (see page 66) to
bring the level to the upper limit. Recheck the oil
level after adding any new oil.
5. If the oil level is close to the upper
limit mark, no additional oil is
needed. Replace the dipstick and
screw it back in securely. Do not
