Manual Activation Laser Timeout - Trigger Settings

You can set a timeout for the length of time the laser remains on and attempting to decode bar codes when the trigger is held down, and after it is released. Set the length (in milliseconds) for a timeout by scanning one of the following bar codes, then setting the timeout (from 1-65535 milliseconds) by scanning digits from the Programming Chart, then scanning Save.

Default = Trigger Hold Out-of-Stand 30,000 ms, Trigger Release Out-of-Stand 0.

Reread Delay

This sets the time period before the scanner can read the same bar code a second time. Setting a reread delay protects against accidental rereads of the same bar code. Longer delays are effective in minimizing accidental rereads. Use shorter delays in applications where repetitive bar code scanning is required. Reread Delay only works when in a Presentation Mode (see page
