4.Reconnect the modem/phone cable, if present.

Upgrading the Computer

3.Reconnect the power cable 1 to the computer, and plug the cable into an electrical outlet 2.

4.Reconnect the modem/phone cable, if present.

5.Reconnect all peripheral devices to the computer.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, fire, or damage to the equipment, do not plug telecommunications or telephone connectors into the network interface card (NIC) (sometimes labeled as an Ethernet connector).

6.Turn on the computer by pressing the Power button.
