Diskette drive cannot

Diskette is not formatted.

To format the diskette:

read a diskette.

 

1.

On the Windows desktop, click Start, and then

 

 

 

 

 

click My Computer.

 

 

2.

Right-click the 3½ Floppy (A:) icon.

 

 

3.

Select Format from the pop-up menu.

 

 

4.

Select the desired options, and click Start to

 

 

 

begin formatting the diskette.

 

 

 

 

Diskette drive has failed.

Press the Help G button on the keyboard to access

 

 

the Compaq Help & Support Center, or refer to the

 

 

Warranty and Support Guide for details.

 

 

 

Drive not found.

Internal cable is loose.

Press the Help G button on the keyboard to access
