To configure the data settings manually:

1.Tap Start > Settings > Connections > HP iPAQ DataConnect.

2.Select a country and operator, and then tap Select to configure the network settings for the selected operator.

3.The data settings will be retrieved each time you try to connect to the Internet using GPRS.

CAUTION: Editing network parameters is not recommended unless you are being assisted by your mobile phone service provider.

HP Asset Viewer

Using the HP Asset Viewer application, you can view information about the system, integrated modules, and attached accessories.

To access HP Asset Viewer:

1.Tap Start > Settings > System > HP Asset Viewer.

2.To view additional system information, tap the appropriate tabs.

The Identity tab – displays the serial number and the user information.

The Memory tab – displays the device memory size for ROM and RAM on your HP iPAQ. It also displays information about flash chip type and flash block size.

The Version tab – displays the version numbers of the ROM, OS, BootLoader, and XIP.

The Display tab – displays settings, such as screen color, size, color depth, display type, and panel type.

The System tab – displays information about manufacturer, product ID, model ID, processor type, language, and country ID.

The Camera tab – displays camera details, such as resolution, and camera drivers.

The Keyboard tab – displays the hardware version and the keyboard drivers.

The Bluetooth tab – displays the radio status of Bluetooth, firmware version, driver version, software version, and MAC address.

The WLAN tab – displays the radio status of WLAN, firmware version, driver version, software version, and MAC address.

The GSM tab – displays the phone status of GSM, the radio firmware version, and the IMEI number.

The GPS tab – displays the radio status of internal GPS and external GPS, manufacturer, firmware version, driver version, and software version.

The Extended ROM tab – displays details of the iPAQ customization software that resides on the extended ROM (not applicable to all devices).

HP CertEnroller

HP CertEnroller is an enhanced security feature for retrieving and registering new certificates. This application allows you to request a user certificate from a certificate server.

NOTE: HP CertEnroller picks up certificate types from Active Directory as well as from the device data store. You must enter a server name for retrieving the certificate, and if required, a valid username and password.
