Power | On | The power supply is operating properly. |
(green) | Blinking1 | Power supply failure. Blinking simultaneously with Fault LED |
| Off | No power connection. |
|
|

Fault | Off | The normal state; indicates there are no fault conditions on the switch. |
(orange) | Blinking1 | A fault has occurred on the switch, one of the switch ports, module in the rear of |

| the switch, or the fan. The Status LED for the component with the Fault LED will blink |
|
| simultaneously. |
| On | On briefly after the switch is powered on or reset, at the beginning of switch self |
|
| test. If this LED is on for a prolonged time, the switch has encountered a fatal |
|
| hardware failure, or has failed its self test. See chapter 4, “Troubleshooting” for |
|
| more information. |
|
|
|
Locator (blue) | On | The Locator LED is used to locate a specific switch in a area full of switches. The |
| Blinking | LED can be set to be on solid or blink for a specified number of minutes |
| Off | The default is 30 minutes. Use the command “chassislocate”. |
|
|
|
PS | On green | The switch is receiving power. |
(green/orange) | Off | The switch is NOT receiving power. |
| Blinking | A fault has occurred on one of the power supplies. The PS Status LED, Fault LED, |
| orange1 | and on the back of the switch the failed power supply LED (PS1 or PS2) will all blink |
|
| simultaneously. |
|
|
|
Tmp | On green | Switch temperature is normal. |
(green/orange) | Blinking | An over temperature condition has been detected. This is a Fault condition |

| orange1 | indicating elevated internal temperatures. The Fault LED will blink simultaneously. |
| Blinking | This indicates an alert condition indicating critical internal temperatures. The Fault |
| orange2 | LED will blink simultaneously. |
Fan Status | On | Normal operation, all fans are ok. |
(green/orange) | Blinking | One of the unit’s fans has failed. The switch Fault LED will be blinking simultaneously. |

| Blinking | One of the unit’s fans has failed and the switch is in an overtemp condition. The |

Fan LED on the fan | Off | Normal operation, all fans are working properly. |
tray (orange) | Blinking | One or more of the unit’s fans has failed. The switch Fault LED, fan status LED on |
