Camera Basics
Turning the Camera On and Off
To turn the camera power on:
•Press the on/off button to turn the camera power on.
The camera lens automatically extends, and the status LCD displays the status of the camera.
Tip: Remember to remove the lens cover before taking a photo. To remind yourself, always replace the lens cover with the leash attachment pointing up so that you see it when you look through the viewfinder.
To turn the camera power off:
•Press the on/off button to turn the camera power off.
The camera lens automatically retracts and the status LCD goes blank.
