Cluster Support

The following sections specify cluster support for each supported operating system.

HP Tru64 UNIX

The EVM Host Agent V2.0D for HP Tru64 UNIX is cluster-aware (however, Tru64 UNIX 5.1A patch BL3 does not support the EVM host cluster feature).

When the EVM host agent is present on a cluster, EVM provides the following:

EVM jobs can mount BCVs on the cluster. The volumes are visible to all of the hosts in the cluster.

EVM displays one host icon that represents the cluster.

EVM reports a cluster property of Yes for a host icon that represents a cluster.

EVM displays icons of volumes that are associated with the cluster.
