TRANSAXLE GEAR SHIFT LEVER NEUTRAL ADJUSTMENT

The transaxle should be in neutral when the gear shift lever is in neutral (N) (lock gate) position. The adjustment is preset at the factory; however, if adjustment is needed, proceed as follows:

•Make sure transaxle is in neutral (N).

NOTE: When the tractor rear wheels move freely, the transaxle is in neutral.

•Loosen adjustment bolt in front of the right rear wheel.

•Position the gear shift lever in the neutral (N) position.

•Tighten adjustment bolt securely.

NOTE: If additional clearance is needed to get to adjustment bolt, move mower deck height to the lowest position.

EINSTELLUNG DES SCHALTHEBELS DES DIFFER- ENTIALGETRIEBES

Das Differentialgetriebe muß sich in Leerlaufstellung befinden, wenn der Schalthebel in der Neutral-Stellung (N) (Verschlußsperre) steht. Diese Einstellung wird bereits vom Hersteller im Werk durchgeführt. Sollte es jedoch dennoch erforderlich sein, weitere Einstellungen vorzunehmen, so muß folgendermaßen vorgegangen werden:

•Zunächst muß sichergestellt werden, daß sich das Differentialgetriebe in Leerlaufstellung (N) befindet.

HINWEIS: Wenn die Hinterräder des Traktors frei beweglich sind, ist das Getriebe immer in Leerlaufstellung.

•Den vorne auf dem rechten Hinterrad befindlichen Ein- stellbolzen lockern.

•Nun den Schalthebel in die Leerlaufstellung (N) brin- gen.

•Den Einstellbolzen wieder fest anziehen.

HINWEIS: Falls eine größere Bewegungsfreiheit benötigt wird, um an den Einstellbolzen zu gelangen, ist es ratsam, die Mäherplattform in die niedrigste Stellung abzusenken.

REGLAGE DE LA POSITION NEUTRE (POINT MORT) DU LEVIER DE CHANGEMENT DE VI- TESSE DES BOITES MECANIQUES.

La boîte de vitesse mécanique doit se trouver au point mort lorsque le levier de changement de vitesse se trouve dans l'encoche de position neutre (N). Le réglage de la position du levier est effectué en usine ; toutefois, un nouveau réglage peut s'avérer nécessaire, procéder alors de la façon suivante:

•Vérifier que la boîte de vitesse est au point mort.

REMARQUE : La boîte de vitesse est au point mort lorsque les roues arrières du tracteur peuvent être manoeuvrées librement.

•Desserrer la vis de réglage (3) située à l'avant de la roue arrière droite.

•Positionner le levier de changement de vitesse dans l'encoche de position neutre (N).

•Resserrer à fond la vis de réglage (3).

REMARQUE : Mettre le carter de coupe en position basse afin de dégager un peu plus d'espace pour effectuer ce réglage.
