CHAPTER 8 ERROR MESSAGES AND REMEDIAL ACTIONSError No. Message Cause/action
Cause Input of wrong commandER01 Illegal command.
Action Enter the correct command.
Cause Input of wrong parameter during command inputER02 Illegal parameter.
Action Enter the correct parameter.
Cause Incorrect interfacing with host mac hineER03 Host is closed.
Action Check the connection between the PG-FP3 and the host.
Cause An attempt was made to read flash memory.ER04 Flash memory cannot read.
Action Flash memory cannot be read.
Cause PG-FP3 system errorER05 SYSTEM error.
Action The PG-FP3 may be damaged.
Cause Intel HEX format cannot be recognized.ER06 Intel HEX format error.
Action Check to see if the file is in Intel HEX format, and reload the file.
Cause A checksum error was detected during loading.ER07 Check sum error
Action Load the file again.
Cause Initialization with the target mic rocont rol ler cannot be made.ER08 Target initialize error.
Action Check to see if the target device was correctly set with the TYPE
command.
Cause The set target microcontroller has no signature.ER09 Target no SIGNATURE.
Action Check to see if the target device was correctly set with TYPE
setting.
Cause The set target microcontroller has no EEPROM.ER0A No EEPROM.
Action Check to see if the target device was correctly set with TYPE
setting (cannot be read).
Cause The target microcontroller is not normal.ER0B Target return error.
Action Communication with the target device is not normal.
Check to see if the correct communication rate was set with the
TYPE command.
Cause An error was detected during communication with the target device .ER0C Target status no return.
Action Check the connection with the target device again.
Cause Execution has been forcibly terminated wit h the Start/St op switch.ER0D SW STOP!!
Action Redo the processing from the beginning.
Cause An illegal character was detected in the displayed charact er st ri ng.ER0E No character.
Action Turn off power to the PG-FP3 and then back on again.
Cause The set target device is not divided into blocks.ER0F This DEVICE is NO BLOCK
Action Block manipulation commands cannot be used if a microcontroller
that is not divided into blocks was selected with the TYPE
command.
Cause The size of the EEP ROM exceeds 64 Kbytes.ER10 EEPROM size over flow.
Action Check the Start/End address in the TYPE setting.
