To memorize the adjusted channel levels:
1After modifying the current channel level, press the MEMORY/ENTER button.
2Press the select or buttons to select REF 1 or REF 2, then press the MEMORY/ENTER button.
To recall the memorized channel levels:
1Press the select or buttons to select the MODE CAL, MODE REF1, or MODE REF2.
2Press the select or buttons to select REF 1 or REF 2. The channel levels memorized into the selected preset are recalled.

This function compresses the dynamic range of previously specified parts of Dolby Digital or DTS sound track (with extremely high volume) to minimize the difference in volume between the specified and

Notes
•The night mode setting is valid only when the digital signals from Dolby Digital or DTS program source are being input.
•In some Dolby Digital or DTS software, the night mode setting may not be valid.
Valid values for the night mode are 0.0 to 1.0.
Modifying the DOLBY PLII music
You can adjust the various surround parameters for optimum surround effect.
Note
The parameter settings are valid only when listening in Dolby Pro Logic II Music mode.
You can adjust the parameters as follows:

Maintaining
To clean this receiver, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. If the surfaces are extremely dirty, use a soft cloth dipped in a soap and water solution or a weak detergent solution.
•Never use alcohol, paint thinner, or benzine to clean this receiver.
•Before using a chemically treated cloth, read the instructions that came with the cloth carefully.
Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs, run through the table below before contacting Insignia.
If the problem persists, attempt to solve it by switching the receiver off and on again. If this fails to resolve the problem, contact Insignia.
Under no circumstances should you attempt to repair the receiver yourself as this could void the warranty.
