The system board is designed for quick replacement and only has one connection, an edge pin connector, to which all motherboard connections are made.

LCD Display

The LCD display for the 650 is a 1024 x 768 resolution display with 16.2 Million colors. The brightness is rated at 250cd/m2. The Intel controller allows for the display to be rotated to 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees without loss of performance.

The LCD brightness can be controlled in 8 steps, from 250 cd/m2 to 25 cd/m2. The brightness can be controlled automatically by the 650 light sensor hardware or can be set to a fixed level.
