After you pressthe sofikeyENTR. the Edit Name RouteWindow will open.The Routeselectedwill be notedon the lett sideof the display.If you wish,you canpressthe sofikeyDEL to deletethe entireROUTE. UsingtheAlpha-NumericKeypad.you may NAME or edit theRouteNamc.

When this is completedpress. the sofikeyENTR andthe Star Pilot will displaytheROUTE on thetop of theleft sideandtheWaypoints currentlystoredin theROUTE below.If you wish to adda new Waypointto a Route,or changea Waypoint'sRouteposition.usethe Up or Down Arrow softkeysto movethecursorto thedesired positionandpressthe softkeyunderENTR.

The Star Pilot displaywill showyou theROUTE andtheWaypoint positionson the left sideof thedisplay.Your WaypointLog will be listedon theright sideof thedisplayunderthe labelNEW WPT. Usingthe Up or Down Arrow sofikeysmove. thecursorto theWay- pointyou wish to placein the sequentialorderpositionindicated undertheROUTE Waypointson theleft.Pressthe ENTR softkey. andtheWaypointselectedwill be enteredin theROUTE.To Delete a Waypointfiom the Route.move the cursorto the *DEL WPT* at the top of the WaypointLog. Pressthe ENTR softkey.andthe Waypointselectedwill be removedfrom theRoute.

The Star Pilot will nextdisplaytheROUTE andits Waypointson theleft sideof thedisplay.The right sideof thedisplaywill askif you arefinishededitingtheRoutedetails.If you pressthe sofikey NO, theStar Pilot will returnto RouteScreen#3. If you pressthe softkeyYES. theStar Pilot will returnto RouteScreen#l.lf you are donewith all Routeediting.you may presstheMENU sofikeyand returnto the Menu Screen.

If at any time duringuseof the WaypointScreens,or RouteScreens. pressingthesoftkeyESC whenshownwill retumtheunit to the

previousscreenwith. no changesbeingenteredPress. the MENU softkeywhen shownto exit the WAYPOINT MODE and returnto theMenu Screen.
