1. Unplugunit.
2. Removecabinet.RefertoCabinetonpage 23.
3. Removecontrolpanel.RefertoRemovingControlPanelonpage 53.
4. RemovecompressorinletHEPAfilter.RefertoReplacingtheCompressorInletHEPA
Filteronpage 26.
5. Removethethreemountingscrewsthatsecuretheresonatorhousingtothesoundbox.
Twomountingscrewsareinstalledinthetop.Theothermountingscrewislocatedon
thebacksideofthehousingnearthebottom(Detail“A”).
6. Movetheresonatorhousingbackslightlyforaccesstothecoolingfan.Disconnectthe
intakehoseonthecompressorassemblyifnecessary(Detail“A”).
7. Disconnectspadeconnectorsfromfanterminalsonsideofcoolingfan.
NOTE:Thecoolingfanisfastenedtothesoundboxwithfourrubbergrommetsoneachcorner.
8. Liftcoolingfanupanddislodgetherubbergrommetsfromthesoundbox(Detail“B”).
9. Removetherubbergrommetsfromtheexistingcoolingfan(Detail“C”).
10. Notetheorientationoftheinstalledrubbergrommets.Therearetworecessedareas
ontherubbergrommet.Thelargerrecessedareaofthegrommetisinstalledinthefan.
Thesmallerrecessedareaisinstalledinthesoundbox.
11. Inspectrubbergrommetsfordamage.Ifdamageisfound,���donotuse.Ordernew
rubbergrommetsbeforeinstallingfan.
12. Installrubbergrommetsintonewcoolingfanwithlargerrecessedareainstalledinthe
fan.(Detail“C”).
CAUTION
FanMUSTbepositionedproperlysoairfromthefanblowsDOWNontothecompressor
(seeairflowarrowonbackoffan)ordamagetotheunitwilloccur.
13. Position coolingfanontosoundbox(Detail“B).
14. Pullrubbergrommetsdownintothesoundbox.(Detail“D”).
