Can I browse the internet from the Local (laptop) if the Remote (desktop) is connected to it?

What happens if I reboot either computer?

After doing step right above, the GCS661U is still not functioning.

Yes, if the Remote has an Internet connection, you can launch Windows Explorer, on the Remote, from your Local computer and browse.

Wait for few seconds and you will then see an icon on the computer stating that “Laptop KVM software running”. The utility software auto start. Go to “My Computer” in the Local computer and click on the GCS661U icon that is showing. The connection between computers will be established.

Unplug and then re-plug the USB cables on both computers. You will then see an icon on the computer stating that “Laptop KVM software running”. The utility software auto start.
