■CAUTION

• Slide the remote control mode selector to [AUDIO].

Using the number buttons

Examples: 5: [5]15: [10] → [1] → [5]150: [10] → [10] → [1] → [5] → [0]

Turning on the main unit

Press [FAUDIO].

•Press [FAUDIO] again to turn off the main unit.

•With the power off, pressing any of the following buttons also turns on the main unit.

-[DVD/CD 3], [USB 3], [NETWORK 3] (only for DD-8/DD-3), [LINE], [FM/AM] or [OPEN/ CLOSE 0] on the remote control

-3, 0or [SOURCE] on the main unit

The function assigned to the button starts working at the same time.

Adjusting the volume

Press [AUDIO VOL +/–].

•Adjustable volume range is from 0 to 40.

•You can also adjust the volume by pressing [VOLUME+/–] on the main unit.

NOTE

•Refer to page 18 for adjusting the volume of the center surround speaker/subwoofer.

•Refer to page 18 for adjusting the volume bal- ance between the left and right speakers.

Turning off the sound temporarily

Press [MUTING].

•Press [MUTING] again to restore the sound. When the main unit is turned off once and turned on again, the sound also is restored.
