SHOWVIEW®-Recording

Look up the SHOWVIEW number codes in an appropriate TV program magazine. Select the desired TV program for recording and refer to the number code next to it.

Preparation:

Turn ON the TV and set to the video input mode.

Make sure TV/VCR/DVD switch has been slided to VCR/DVD.Then press VCR to select the VCR mode. (The VCR indicator will light)

1 Press PROG.

If the clock is not set, CLOCK SET menu will appear automatically.

2 Enter the SHOWVIEW code with

number keys.

In case of an erroneous input, press CANCEL and enter the cor- rect number again.

Note:

The built-in timer stores 8 memories. If the “PROGRAM FULL” indicationappears, you must delete one memory (see page 34).

If you wish to receive the suitable pro- gram with a satelite receiver, the AV-po- sition must be given near “CH”.

Press AUX repeatedly until AV2 appears.

After a power failure or disconnection of the power plug, all programmed record- ing settings and time display will be lost upon resumption of power. In this case, reset the clock (see pages 19) and re- program any timer recordings.

Only in case of the TV station that you decode for the first time, the – – will blink at the CH line. That is to say, you must enter the corresponding channel position with the decoded TV sta- tion manually. See next page.
