Operating other manufacturers’ equipment
By changing the transmittable signals, you can use the remote control supplied for this unit to operate other manufacturers’ equipment.
•Refer also to the manuals supplied with the other products.
•To operate those components with the remote control, first you need to set the manufacturers’ codes each for the CATV converter, DBS tuner, VCR, and TV.
•After replacing batteries of the remote control, set the manufacturers’ codes again.
Set the mode selector to AUDIO/TV/VCR/DBS.

3Enter the manufacturer’s code using buttons 1 – 9, and 0.
4Release DBS

Now, you can perform the following operations on the CATV converter or DBS tuner.

1 – 9, 0:Select the channel numbers on the CATV converter or DBS tuner.
5Try to operate your CATV converter or DBS tuner by pressing DBS

When your CATV converter or DBS tuner turns on or off, you have entered the correct code.
If more than one codes are listed for your brand of the CATV
converter, try each one until the correct one is entered.
