DVD player operations

Basic operation through the on-screen bar

7When a disc is loaded

Ex.: To select “TITLE” for the repeat mode during DVD play:

1Press ON SCREEN twice.

The following on-screen bar appears on the TV.

TIME	OFF	CHAP.	1/3	1/3	1/3

2Press Cursor 3/2 repeatedly to move

to .

TIME	OFF	CHAP.	1/3	1/3	1/3

3Press ENTER.

The pop-up window appears under the on-screen bar.

• The previously selected option appears.

4Press Cursor ∞/5 repeatedly to select the desired option.

• Each time you press the button, the options change.

5Press ENTER.

The setting changes and the pop-up window goes off.

To erase the on-screen bar

Press ON SCREEN.

Changing the time information

You can change the time information in the on-screen bar and the display on the center unit.

7During playback or while stopped

1Press ON SCREEN twice.

The on-screen bar appears on the TV.

2Press Cursor 3/2 repeatedly to move

to TIME .

3Press ENTER.

•Each time you press the button, the time information changes as follows.

Ex.: When playing back a DVD:

TIME 0:25:58 ] REM 0:18:14 ] TOTAL 1:25:58 ]

T.REM 0:45:41 ] (back to the beginning)

TIME :Elapsed playing time of the current chapter/ track

REM :Remaining time of the current chapter/track TOTAL :Elapsed time of the disc

T. REM :Remaining time of the disc

To erase the on-screen bar

Press ON SCREEN.

NOTE:

For a VCD, SVCD, or Audio CD, the hour digit is not displayed.
