Repeat play

You can repeat playback of the current title or chapter (for DVD) or track (for VCD/SVCD/Audio CD).

You can also repeat playback of a particular part.

Repeating title, chapter, or tracks

1Press ON SCREEN twice.

The on-screen bar appears on the TV.

2Press Cursor 3/2 repeatedly to move

to , then press ENTER.

The pop-up window appears under the on-screen bar.

3Press Cursor ∞/5 repeatedly to select repeat play mode.

•Each time you press the button, the repeat play mode changes as follow.

For DVD:

CHAPTER O TITLE O A-B O OFF O

(back to the beginning)

For VCD/SVCD/Audio CD:

TRACK O ALL O A-B O OFF O

(back to the beginning)

CHAPTER : Repeats current chapter.

TITLE : Repeats current title.

TRACK : Repeats current track.

ALL : Repeats all tracks of a disc.

A-B : Repeats a selected portion (see the right).

OFF : Cancels repeat play.

NOTE:

If you select “ALL” during random play, all tracks of the disc are

played repeatedly in random order.

4Press ENTER.

Repeat play starts.

To cancel repeat play

Repeat from step 1, select “OFF” in step 3, then press ENTER.

To erase the on-screen bar

Press ON SCREEN.

Repeating a particular portion

—A-B repeat

You can repeat playback of a particular portion by specifying the beginning (point A) and the ending (point B).

4Press ENTER at the point where you want to start repetition (point A).

5Press ENTER at the point where you want to end repetition (point B).

A-B repeat playback starts. The selected portion (between points A and B) is plays continuously.

To cancel A-B repeat play

Repeat from step 1, select “OFF” in step 3, then press ENTER.

To erase the on-screen bar

Press ON SCREEN.

NOTES:

•While playing back a DVD disc, A-B repeat play is possible only within the same title.

•“A-B” cannot be selected during program and random plays.

•“A-B” cannot be selected while stopped.
