Turning On or Off the Unit
To turn on the unit

To turn off the unit (on stanby)
Press STANDBY/ON on the unit or remote control. “BYE BYE” scrolls through briefly and the clock time appears if the clock is already set.
Setting the Clock
Before operating the unit any further, first set the

On clock resetting
If a power failure occurred or the AC power cord is disconnected, the clock is reset to “0:00” (flashing). In such a case you need to set the clock again.
Adjusting the Volume
• You can adjust the volume only while the unit is turned on.

The volume can be adjusted in 33 steps between “VOL MIN” (minimum) and “VOL MAX” (maximum).
To increase or decrease the volume level rapidly, press and
hold VOLUME + or VOLUME
To turn off the sound temporarily
MUTING
Press MUTING on the remote control. The source name and muting indication scroll through the display, and playback continues without sound.
To restore the sound, press MUTING again or increase or decrease the volume level.
