Chocolate Chip Biscuits
125g butter, softened
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
1½ cups plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ cup chocolate chips
1. Crea m butter and sugar i n a small
mixing bowl on Spee d 4 until light and
fluffy. Beat in conde nsed milk and
vanilla essenc e.
2. Si ft flour and bakin g powder together.
3. Us ing Speed 1, gradually a dd dry
ingredients and ch ocolate chips, mix
until well combine d.
4. Rol l tablespoons of the m ixture into
balls. Place bal ls 4 cm apart on a
lightly greased or b ake paper lined
baking tray. Press ball s gently with a
floured fork to flatten sl ightly.
5. Ba ke in a moderately hot oven 180ºC
for 15-20 minutes or unti l crisp and
golden brown.
6. Rem ove from oven, move slightly on
tray and allow to crisp en, then transfer
to rack to cool completely.
