Right Side View | • Fit a retainer to the inside and outside of the back end of |
| the vehicle frame, as shown. |
•Slide the drive axle through the hole in the rear fender until it sticks out about 3/4".

•Fit a .437 cap nut onto the end of the drive axle.
•Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure the cap nut on the drive axle. Pull on the cap nut to be sure it is secure.
Hint: You may need the help of another adult to support the other end of the drive axle while you tap the cap nut.
•Repeat steps 18 through 20 to assemble the other rear wheel onto the other end of the drive axle.
•Insert a #8 x 3/4" screw through the outside retainer and into the inside retainer.
•Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
•Repeat this procedure to attach the other retainers (inside and outside) to the other side of the back end of the vehicle frame.

•Fit a hex bushing, keyed side first, into the center hole in each side of a large wheel, as shown.
•Repeat this procedure to assemble the remaining hex bushing to the other large wheel.
