Water in the washer drains slowly or not at all, or the display shows: LIL-

Drainhose is kinked, pinched,or clogged. Makesure the drain hose isfree of clogs, kinks,etc., andis not
pinchedbehind or underthe washer.
Thedrain filter is clogged. Cleanthe drain filter. See Maintenancein the Care and Cleaning
sectionon page 24.
Draindischarge is more than 96" above bottom of washer. Adjustor repair drain.
Washer fills with water slowly or not at all, or the display shows: I _EI

Watersupply taps are not open fully. Makesure that thewater taps are open fully.
Water line hoses are kinked, pinched, or crushed. Makesure the hoses are not kinked or pinched.
Becareful whenmoving the washer.
Water inletfilters are clogged. Cleanthe inletfilters. See Maintenanse in the Care and Cleaning
sectionon page 23.
Water pressure to tap or house istoo low. Check another faucet in the house to make sure that household
waterpressure is adequate.
Watersupply connected with leak-limitinghoses. Hosesdesigned to limit leaks if a hosefails can trip falsely and
preventwasher fromfilling.
Washer will not turn ON
Check if... Then...
Powercord is not properly plugged in. Makesure that the plug is plugged securely intoa grounded,
3-prong,120-VAC, 60-Hz. outlet.
Housefuse is blown,circuit breaker hastripped, or power Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse. Do not increase fuse capacity.
outagehas occurred. Ifthe problem is a circuit overload,have it corrected by a qualified
electrician.
Cycle won't start, or the display shows:
Check if...
Thedoor is notclosed properly.
Then...
Makesure thatthe door is closed properly and press the
START/PAUSEbutton. After starting a cycle,it may take a few
momentsbefore the drum begins to turn or spin. The washer wilt not
operateunless the door is locked.
Ifthe door is closed and locked and the opendoor error message is
displayed,call for service.
