External Amp Control

Adjust the bass boost level of the external amplifier using the main unit.

Switching the bass boost level:

1Hold down the MENU button for one second or more. "MENU" is displayed and the menu mode is turned on.

2Press the ¢ button repeatedly until the External amp control function appears in the display.

Press the 4 button to search in the other direction.

The function setting is indicated by "AMP BASS Flat / FLT", "AMP BASS +6", or "AMP BASS +12" in the display, indicating that the external amplifier bass boost level is flat, +6dB, or +12dB, respectively.

3Switching settings

Press either the AM or FM button. The display and setting will change.

4Press the MENU button to end the menu mode.

As of December 1998, the power amplifiers controllable by the main unit are as follows: KAC-X501F/PS501F/X401M/PS401M/X301T/PS301T/X201T/PS201T
