You can also select a CTCSS frequency by using the microphone:
1Select your desired band.
2Press [TONE] 2 times to activate the CTCSS function.
•The 
icon appears on the display when the CTCSS function is ON.
•Each press of [TONE] changes the selection as follows: Tone (T)
3Press [F], [TONE].
•The current CTCSS frequency appears on the display and blinks.
4Press the key programmed as [ENTER].
5Enter a frequency reference number (01 ~ 42) using the microphone keypad.
•Refer to the table below for frequencies and their reference numbers.
6Press [ENTER] again to complete the setting.
