Filter Type [LPF: Low Pass (12dB/oct),

Thefilterwillproduceverydifferentresultsdependingon
theselectedfiltertype.Theselectionswillchangeslightly
accordingtotheselectedFilterRouting,toshowthecorrect
cutoffslopeindBperoctave.
LPF:Thiscutsoutthepartsofthesoundwhicharehigher
thanthecutofffrequency.LowPassisthemostcommon
typeoffilter,andisusedtomakebrighttimbressound
darker.
HPF:Thiscutsoutthepartsofthesoundwhicharelower
thanthecutofffrequency.Youcanusethistomaketimbres
soundthinnerormorebuzzy.
BPF:Thiscutsoutallpartsofthesound,bothhighsand
lows,exceptfortheregionaroundthecutofffrequency.
Sincethisfiltercutsoutbothhighandlowfrequencies,its
effectcanchangedramaticallydependingonthecutoffset
tingandtheoscillator’smultisample.
Withlowresonancesettings,youcanusetheBandPassfil
tertocreatetelephoneorvintagephonographsounds.With
higherresonancesettings,itcancreatebuzzyornasaltim
bres.
BRF:Thisfiltertype–alsocalledanotchfilter–cutsonlythe
partsofthesoundthataredirectlyaroundthecutofffre
quency.TrymodulatingthecutoffwithanLFOtocreate
phaserlikeeffects.
