TheKAV-1500amplifier is shippedwith shortingpins in the XLRinputs. Thesepins shouldremainin the XLRinputs if the amplifier is operatingin the single-endedmode.

Whenthe shortingpin is insert,ed,pins1 (lowerleft) and3 (top) areshortedtogether. Removethe shortingpins to connectthe amplifier for balancedoperation.
