•Backupyourentireharddiskdriveonaregularbasis.
•IfyouareusingtheWindowsVistaoperatingsystem,useorscheduleSystemRestor etotakeasystem
snapshotperiodically.

Movingyourcomputer

2.Removeallmedia(diskettes,compactdiscs,tapes,andsoon)fromthedrives.
3.Turnoffthecomputerandallattacheddevices.Yourharddiskdriveautomaticallyparksther ead/write
headinanondataarea.Thispreventsdamagetotheharddiskdrive.
4.Unplugthepowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
