Completingthepartsreplacement
Aftercompletingtheinstallationorreplacementforallparts,youneedtoreinstallthecomputercoverand
reconnectcables.Dependingonthepartsyouinstalledorreplaced,youmightneedtoconrmtheupdat ed
informationintheSetupUtilityprogram.RefertoChapter7“UsingtheSetupUtilityprogram”onpage77.
Toreinstallthecomputercoverandreconnectcablestoyourcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Mak esurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrews
areleftinsideyourcomputer .See“Locatingcomponents”onpage11forthelocationsofvarious
componentsinyourcomputer.
2.Mak esurethatthecablesareroutedcorrectly.Keepcablesclearofthehingesandsidesofthe
computerchassistoavoidint erferencewithclosingthecomputercover.
3.L owerthedrivebayassembly.See“Accessingthesystemboardcomponentsanddrives”onpage34.
4.Ifyouhaveremovedthefrontbezel,reinstallit.
5.P ositionthecomputercoveronthechassissothattherailguidesonthecomputercoverengagethe
railsonthechassis.Then,slidethecomputercovertothefrontofthecomputeruntilitsnapsinto
positionandisclosed.Then,installthetwoscrewstosecurethecomputercover.
