Completingthepartsreplacement
Aftercompletingtheinstallationorreplacementforallparts,youneedtoclosethecomputercoverand
reconnectcables.Dependingonthepartsyouinstalledorreplaced,youmightneedtoconrmtheupdated
informationintheSetupUtilityprogram.RefertoChapter7“UsingtheSetupUtilityprogram”onpage77.
Toclosethecomputercoverandreconnectcablestoyourcomputer ,dothefollowing:
1.Makesurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrews
areleftinsideyourcomputer.See“Locatingcomponents”onpage10forthelocationsofvarious
componentsinyourcomputer.
2.Ifyouhaveremovedthefrontbezel,reinstallit.Toreinstallthefrontbezel,alignthethreetabson
thefrontbezelwiththecorrespondingholesinthechassisandpivotthefrontbezelinwardsuntil
itsnapsintoposition.
3.Makesurethatthecablesareroutedcorrectly.Keepcablesclearofthehingesandsidesofthe
computerchassistoavoidinterferencewithclosingthecomputercover.
4.Lowertheopticaldrivebay .
5.Closethecomputercover.
6.Ifthereisanintegratedcablelockavailable,lockthecomputer.
7.Reconnecttheexternalcablesandpowercordstothecomputer.See“Locatingconnectorsontherear
