Prerequisitesfortheprocedure

Iftherechargeablebatterypackisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thebattery
packcontainsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjury:
•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.
•Keepthebatterypackawayfromre.
•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.
•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.
•Donotshort-circuitit.
•Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcan
causethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorameto“vent”fromthebattery
packorcoincell.
Replacingthebattery
Toreplacethebattery,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer.
2.Closethecomputerdisplay.
3.Disconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer .
4.Holdthebatteryreleaselatchtotheunlockposition1,andremovethebatteryinthedirectionof2.
