CPU Power Management	•	Disable	Unless this power-saving feature is disabled, it stops

Beep and Alarm
Power Control Beep	•	Enabled	If this function is enabled, a beep sounds when the

Low Battery Alarm	•	Enabled	Enable or disable the Low Battery Alarm.

Memory
Extended Memory Test	•	Enabled	Enable or disable the Extended Memory Test and
	•	Disabled	initialization during boot. Enabling this function
			will increase boot time. Recent operating systems
			usually do not require Extended Memory Initialization.
Serial ATA (SATA)
SATA Controller Mode Option:	•	AHCI	If you select “AHCI,” the Serial ATA controller
	•	Compatibility	operates in AHCI mode. If you select “Compatibility,”
			the Serial ATA controller operates in compatibility
			mode.
