8.4.2 Wireless Setting (For WPS-9123 only)

If you want to use the printer server through wireless LAN, please set up the printer server through Ethernet first and make sure your wireless LAN setting is correct. After setting the wireless LAN, unplug the Ethernet cable and restart the printer server, then you can start to use the printer server through wireless LAN. If the wireless configuration does not work, please plug the Ethernet cable again, restart the printer server and configure the printer server through Ethernet until the wireless LAN settings are correct.

You can enable/disable the wireless function and set parameters that are used for the wireless stations to connect to this printer server from here. The parameters include “Function”, “Mode”, “ESSID” and “Channel Number”. You can manually set the parameters of wireless LAN in this page or use the “Site Survey” function to automatically search for an available access point and associate with it.

Function: You can select “Auto”, Enable” or “Disable” to manually configure the wireless function.

yAuto – “Auto” is the default setting of the printer server. At this mode, the printer server will automatically decide to enable or disable the wireless function. When the printer server starts up, it will auto-detect if the LAN port is connected to an
