Using the Control Program
The Control Program lets you monitor your printer and install or replace print cartridges. To open the Control Program, from the Start menu click:

2Lexmark Z12 Series.
3Lexmark Z12 Control Program.

Status tab to:•Monitor the status of your print job.•Cancel your print job.•Print a test page.
•View your ink level.
Cartridge tab to:•Install or replace a print cartridge.•Align the print cartridge for best print quality.•Clean the print nozzles.
•View cartridge part numbers and order supplies directly from Lexmark’s Web site.
Options tab to enable/disable various printer software functions, such as Sound Effects and Buffer Mode.
About tab to view printer software version and copyright information.DOS Printingtab to change settings for DOS printing.
Help button on any tab in the Control Program to access the printer driver Help.
Note: You can also access the Control Program by double- clicking the Lexmark Z12 Series printer icon on your desktop.
