La parte delantera debe estar un poco más elevada que la trasera para facilitar el cierre de la puerta. Los pies de nivelación pueden girarse fácilmente empujando contra la parte superior del refrigerador para quitar el peso de los apoyos. Gire las patas de nivelación en sentido de las agujas del reloj para levantar la unidad o en sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj para bajarla.
