Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology that devices can
use to exchange inform ation over a dis tance of abo ut 30 feet. T he most com mon
Bluetooth devices are headphones for making calls or listening to music, hands-free
kits for cars, and oth er portab le devices, in cluding lapt ops and cell ph ones.
There are several Bluetooth profiles that define the features and communications
standards for Blueto oth devices .
