Making a Data Call Windows 2000 Users
1. Under Start Menuselect NetworkConnections.
Click on your newly created Dial up. ClickDial to
connect.
2. An authentication message will confirm your suc-
cessful log-in.
3. If the connection fails, check your settings and try
again.
4. To disconnect, just press Endkey or right click in
connection icon or icon in the system tray.
Windows XPUsers
1. Click Dialto initiate the Dial Up connection.

cessful log-in.

Windows 98 / ME Users
1. Click Dialto initiate the Dial Up connection under
Dial Up Networking.
2. Enter the username as user@telstra.internetand
the password as telstra.
3. Click Connect to dial.

cessful log-in.
5. If the connection fails, check your settings and try
again.
6. To disconnect, just press EndKey or right click on
connection icon or icon in the system tray.
Connecting data outside CDMA1x coverage area
of Telstra Mobile
1. When making a data call outside CDMA1X cover-
age area, Windows will prompt you to re-enter the
Username and Password. At this point enter the
username qncuser and password ssqnc.
