If the meter does not display a message after inserting a test strip:

Check that the battery is

incorrectly installed

If the test does not start after applying the sample:

Insufficient blood sample

Repeat the test with a new test strip

 

and a larger sample, making sure

 

blood is placed to the narrow channel

 

in the top edge of the test strip.

 

 

Defective test strip

Repeat the test with a new

 

test strip.

Sample applied after automatic shutoff (two minutes after last user action)

Repeat the test with a new test strip; apply sample only when

the R symbol appears on the display.
