TROUBLE

D. Engine will not go to high idle
when using auxiliary power.
E. Engine will not crank or is
hard to crank.
F. Engine shuts down.
G. Engine does not develop
full power.
H. Engine is hard to start.

CAUSE

1. No voltage signal from the
current sensor.
2. Auxiliary power load less than
100 to 150 watts.
3. Faulty P.C. Board
1. Battery will not hold a charge.
Faulty Battery.
2. No or insufficient charging
current.
3. Loose battery cable
connection(s).
1. Out of fuel.
2. Low oil level.
1. Air filter clogged.
1. Spark plugs do not have
specified gap.
2. Spark plugs are fouled.

WHATTODO

1. Check for disconnected or
broken leads in idler sensing
circuit.
2. Idler may not function with less
than 100 to 150 watt load. Set
idler switch to high idle.
3. Replace P.C. Board with known
good one.
1. Replace with known good one.
2. Check the connection of the
lead from the voltage regulator
on the engine to the charging
ammeter and the battery.
3. Check and tighten connection
at battery, at starter, at engine
foot, or at frame.
1. Replace LPG fuel cylinder.
2. Check oil level and add oil as
required.
1. Replace.
1. Adjust to specified gap.
2. Replace spark plugs (See
Engine Owner’s Manual).
